PS4 Podium F1 V3 pedals not registering.

Hi,
I have just put my rig together and there is a problem.
The pedals do not register when plugged into the wheel base with the rj12 cable. I updated all the firmware on pedals and wheel and still nothing. The pedals register on my laptop through the USB but not when the pedals are connected to the dd1 via the rj12 and the dd1 is connected to my laptop through usb. I swapped the cable from my emergency stop and still nothing, wiggled all the cables and tried with the rumble motors disconnected. I think it might be a bad plug on the v3's or the dd1.
Thing is they worked just fine on the floor when I tested them before the rig turned up.
Open to any suggestions.

I hope you didn't connect your pedals with RJ12 and USB cable at the same time?
yep that's a bad idea - I did it at once , it was a huge mistake, I wish I knew that before doing it
No didnt do that :)
Being I use a console there is no real reason to make that mistake.
I'm having the same issue but I DID connect the pedals to both the console and wheel base before realizing I wasn't supposed to. So what happens now? How do I fix it?
No idea, I am waiting to here back from fanatec about warranty. I only used usb for first time yesterday to test the pedals. Maybe your having the same problem as me and nothing to do with usb.
You probably caused a damage, contact Fanatec support.

As a result I had destroyed USB cable and some other cables, I needed to change them
I think I would have spent a lot of money for that except my father told me to look for some deals (he's really in it, "you have to do savings bla bla bla") so he recommended me a website https://www.rabato.com/au/

Fanatec Germany emailed me last night. Have to send whole lot for inspection/repair. Just waiting on RMA from the Australian Fanatec now.

The RJ12 socket in the DD1 was dead.
sent away 1 week for repair.
