APM, bitepoint clutch, left joystick button. Bug or working as intended?

My setup:

DD1

APM

F1 V2

CSP V3 via USB

Drivers and firmware:

Driver 365

Wheelbase 672

Motor 38

Wheel 34rev187

Pedals 1.3

Problem:

If you pull both clutch levers on the APM in bitepoint mode the button of the left joystick (button 26) does not work.

Learned it the hard way.

I had "start engine" mapped to button26, pulled both clutch levers, tried to start engine after pit stop. Engine did not start.

Let of one lever, engine tried to start but was stalled, because of clutch having the bite point engaged.

Let of both levers, engine tried to start but was stalled, because of already being in first gear.

Until I sorted it out and got the engine running again, I lost 13 seconds and the lead.

Maybe it is just my setup, maybe a bug, maybe a feature.

Just want to let you know.

  • Sounds like a bug and is being investigated as its working properly on the BME, so its a Formula v2 exclusive issue it seems.
