Questions: Porsche 911 GT3 R Wheel with ClubSport Wheel Base V2.5
Hi,
I am new in SimRacing and i think to upgrade my t150 Wheel to Fanatec clubsport 2.5 with the Porsche 911 GT3 R Wheel. But i have some questions and i hope that there is someone here who can help me.
- Some Reviewer on youtube mentioned that the Porsche wheel is to heavy for the base. Is this really an issue? If, which Wheel fits better on the base (DD-Bases are to expensive for me).
- Are the software and the driver final or do i need to ask for the beta drivers?
- On the shopping page are some notes:
- Podium Wheel Rim Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (Leather)
- Podium Button Module Endurance
- ClubSport Universal Hub for Xbox One
- 4 x small button boxes with 3 buttons each*
- 2 x small levers and 2 x long levers*
- 1 x pair of small shifter paddles
- 1 x pair of large shifter paddles
- 1 x FunkySwitch™*
- LED display unit
- Xbox One button caps
- Racing style button caps
- Set of bolts
*These included Universal Hub components are not suitable for use with Podium Button Module Endurance
What does "*" mean for a newbee like me. Why do i get components that are not compatible? What are the button boxes or FunkySwitch?
Sorry, if the questions are stupid, but i need more answers before i spent over 1000€.

everything is updated, but csw2.5 doesn’t wanna work with Porsche GT3 wheel
Also there is no possibility for tuning in Fanalab - it does show that the base is connected, it sees podium hub, but no endurance module and nothing shown in tuning page
as Maurice asked you in the other thread, if you have a V2 CSW and not the V2.5 the BME won't work at all.
