PC doesn't reconigze Wheel Base anymore

Hi

Today I tried to connect my wheel base (CSL Elite F1® Set ) with my pc.

But i received a message my pc can't recognize the device.

I checked the usb cable and i saw there was a small black piece loose in the cable.

I can remove it from the cable. Is this piece coming from my wheel base and must it be repaired?

Or do i just have to buy a new cable? I added a photo of the cable with the black piece in it.

  • Looking at that picture that looks like the plastic bit that holds the pins for the usb cable , looks like you need a new cable.

  • I did some further research and according to me the USB port should be replaced/repaired.

    I already created a customer support ticket last Sunday (14th) but didn't receive a reply yet.

    In order to repair it, which steps do i have to follow to send my wheelbase back to Fanatec?

    Or what is the response time of the customer support team?
