CSL DD Compatability mode firmware update?

I use my DD mainly with my Series X but I noticed when conected to pc in compatibility mode it shows a firmware update for a different wheel base. Is it safe to update this? Does this effect Xbox mode? Also when in PC mode it doesn't show my CSL pedals or any way to update them. Is this normal?

What version from what base is shown as available for you in Comp mode?
And yes it's normal that you cant update CSL Pedals. They dont have their own updateable firmware.
Weird...I just looked and its now showing the DD instead. Before it was detecting the csw 2.5 and firmware was red with an update available which I didn't do. Everything seems normal now 🤷♂️👍
Same thing happened to me it was reading csw but then soon as I started up the game it changed itself, weird lol. Now I’m having problems connecting my handbrake for Forza horizon 5
