I just got the Gran turismo DD pro and its my first Fanatec wheel. The thing that i'm woried about is the Quick-release on the base. It looks like its not straight and i don't know if this is a problem.

Release the clamp (black piece), pull out the shaft and re-insert it again (procedure is also described in the manual if i'm correct), tighten the clamp and check again.
If it still happens i would open up a support ticket. It doesn't do any harm to the wheelbase but it isn't like it should be.
