Steering wheel connection

I have a formula black steering wheel that won’t connect to my new csl dd wheel base. I have an original bmw wheel that works fine. The formula black wheel is very hard to get on and off. Not sure what type of lubricant I could use to ease the process. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

A thin layer of silicone grease should be enough. If it continues to be very difficult, then feel free to open a support ticket via the My Products section of your Fanatec account.

thanks for the reply. I got it on by pushing on it very hard and it works ok, but getting it off is a bear. will try the silicone grease!
