Button Mapping on Playstation 5

Hello,
I have a Formula 2.5 with a GT DD Pro wheel base. Is there any possibility to remat the buttons for the PS5? The PS system settings only allows to change the mapping for the controller, but is there any soluton for the wheel?
Does not matter, if I have to connect it to my PC and do the remapping there or at the PS directly. Maybe with Fanalab or something?

Not possible in the PS System itself. You can only remap buttons directly in each game.
Sad, the game I want to test with the wheel does not have the possibility. Is Fanatec considering to do something to give us the oppertunity? Every custom controller can do that, so it should be not so hard to implement it into the firmware or as a feature in fanalab.
A Wheel is no custom controller.
No wheel can do that on console.
But that does not mean, that it is not possible.
But it is not possible..😅
And therefore not planned.
Also which game do you play which does not feature button mapping? That's a Basic feature which literally every serious Racing Sim Supports... Even GT supports that, kinda.
It is not a sim racer, it is an arcade racer (the Crew 2) , but with a wheel you are a lot faster in some races, but you need to use nitro, which is binded on "x", which is not easy to reach with the standart mapping.
I too want this!!! Fanatec should make this possible as the Formula V2.5 has 3 button presses assigned as the "X" button for Playstation.
1: pressing the left joystick
2: pressing the right stick
3: pressing the button just to the right of the right hand toggle switch
Not to mention some of the button locations like L2, L3, R2, are all the top left hand 3 buttons clustered together.
Much more i would like to move around on this thing.
