Performance Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.23.0
I've had several disconnections that went back to normal after about three seconds and once the connection was completely gone, steering wheel and base unresponsive, the only thing that helped was pulling the plug. That wasn't the case before this Windows update!
My GT DD Extreme SW steering wheel does not update, I have updated the drivers to version 462 but my steering wheel is at version 1.0.3.2 and no matter how many times I update to version 1.0.7.0, when I change the steering wheel it returns to version 1.0. 3.2 and no steering wheel button is detected
Ok all done. We’re now on 462. Just one question. When I used to turn on my base my wheel display used to show 2.1.0 I think. But now since update is shows - - - is this normal?
Hi, I installed the 462 driver on my DD cell with a formula 2.5 steering wheel with Apm, I noticed that I lose many gear changes especially during the downshift phases. I tried different Sims but the result is always the same, it is clearly noticeable with the control panel open that the downshift dregs on the steering wheel of the control panel remain blocked, as if the input of the commands goes into saturation, is there a solution for this problem? with the 455 driver there is no problem
Also tested the buttons by pressing them repeatedly and no problem there. But I don't know if that means it's not a problem. Theoretically, even when changing gears, if I try in the application, there is little chance of catching the problem. When you play, you change gears many times and it's easy to catch the problem.
Revert to firmware 3.0.4.3 from the 455 driver to fix this. I mentioned it earlier in this thread. You can still then update to driver 462, but don't use the firmware later than 3.0.4.3 otherwise the problem will come back.
Our testing team tried to reproduce this without success. For them the manual and auto calibration as well as the display of the CSL UH worked as intended.
Can you try going back to the previous firmware to see if they are fixed again and maybe try the new firmware again to see if it happens again. Maybe any additional info you could provide to help is reproducing and understanding the issue better?
It's just a visual thing and nothing dramatic where you need to ask this several times within a few hours.
It's normal that - - - is shown after the base FW is shown on 7-Seg-Wheels (and the BME). To make sure, just open the Driver Control Panel and have a look at the version shown there.
It should show 2.2.3 followed by - - -. If not, then it's just a visual firmware glitch as long as the Driver Control Panel shows that 2.2.3.7 is installed.
BME and McLaren use different OLED Screens so completely different Code to show stuff on the Display.

is that the right answer to my question?
thats the reason why I asked if the PBMR get fixes/updates too, but some dudes in here make one on clever, lol.
The PBMR bugs are not fixed in 462.
I am one of those who would like to see that bugs fixed.
I did the upgrade. I'll do some... "stress test" on iRacing and see if the anomaly is fixed.

I have the formula V2.5 steering wheel and it does detect all the buttons so I assume it is a problem with the GT DD+ steering wheel
1.0.3.2 is not a valid Firmware for the GT SW X - such a Firmware never existed for this wheel.
1.0.3.2 is the Firmware version of the CSL DD Motor. No other product ever had this exact Firmware version number.
This happens to me and it doesn't let me use the steering wheel.
Something is broken here for sure.
Could be a Bootloader issue so your best option would be to contact the support I guess.
not the driver 462,
but the windows update build 26100.2033 yesterday evening.
had no problems before since installing 462_rev1

okay, thanks for the help Maurice, I always see you helping people through the forum and you have the patience of a saint 😅😋
Does anyone else’s wheel show - - - after update ? It’s used to show 2.1.0. On start up. I’m on podium wheel.

Its a know Firmware issue from the 2.5 Wheel. Downgrade only the wheel firmware

Can anyone answer my question above in regards to my podium wheel showing - - - and not the new 2.2.3.
my McLaren wheel shows it.

So why did it show the old 2.1.0 before update on bme? And why is it showing 2.2.3 on my McLaren.
apology's if I came across impatient:(

Ok thanks Maurice.
oh oh.. Your WQR shows 0.0.0.0 which is a bad sign.
What does this mean ? Everything working fine
it could be also the bug honestly, its been happened before that for somereason it been show 0.0.0.0 instead off real number
