440 is way too old for normal use, you should use at-least 451
Hey Frenz! We're here to help get your DD1 PS4 back on track. Downgrading from driver 464 to 440 can sometimes cause compatibility issues, but don't worry, we’ll work through this together. First, let’s try performing a manual firmware recovery. You can do this by connecting your wheel base to your PC via USB, launching the Fanatec Control Panel, and selecting the "Firmware Update" option. If the base isn’t recognized, you might need to use bootloader mode by holding the power button for 10 seconds while reconnecting the USB.
If that doesn’t resolve the issue, consider reinstalling driver 464 to ensure the firmware and software align correctly. Once everything is reconnected, follow the on-screen prompts to update your wheel base to the latest firmware. If you still encounter challenges, our support team is just a click away, ready to provide more personalized assistance. Best, your Fanatec team.
