Fanatec still can't handle shipping their products?
Ordered on the 2nd of Jan. Took my money from my account immediately. A not insignificant amount to me.
International Shipping order wasn't raised until the 6th, but pickup wasn't until the 9th. This is insanely slow, despite the holiday period - but as frustrating at that was, I'll begrudgingly accept that.
Took a further 4 days to get to the export centre in Germany on the 13th.
At this point, ETA of delivery, was the 14th of Jan -again, frustratingly slow and annoying, but at least it was a day I can work from home to wait in for it.
However, also on the 13th I get this message from the tracking:
Your parcel was cleared after the scheduled transport departure. We will reschedule for the next available departure. / Delivery will be delayed by one business day.
Herne-Boernig, Germany
This message was repeated on the 14th.
This message was also repeated today, the 15th.
My ETA from UPS now reads: The delivery date will be provided as soon as possible.
My ETA from Fanatec's 'Track and Trace' says:
i.e. Yesterday. So in reality, I have no idea when this will turn up, 12 days after payment was taken.
Before Fanatec or anyone else says that it's not in Fanatec's hands, it's not their fault - I paid them what I consider a not insignificant sum of money for international delivery. It is entirely their responsibility to carry that out - it's not my responsibility to hold UPS accountable (although they clearly have forgotten how to deliver parcels).
This has gone from something I was really excited about, to something that I 100% regret starting. I had fully assumed that Fanatec would do everything possible to drag themselves back up in the delivery/customer relations area. Companies need to be held accountable for the level of service they provide. I have raised a ticket and got the standard - sorry, it was the holiday season. Then don't take my money until you ship!
The way I feel right now (and I know I'm having a rant /vent - and that it won't make the slightest difference), my next upgrade will not be a Fanatec. Please consider this experience, and numerous other accounts I've just seen, before handing over money with any expectation of a smooth, timely delivery.
Good luck to all those still waiting - I hope your shipment arrives quicker than mine will (whenever they tell me when it's actually going to get here).

The 6th was the first day for Fanatec after the vacation period. Logistics did not operate in that time period, therefore they probably had a big backlog of orders to go through.
So the shipping label was created on the 6th, and it was then ready for pickup on the 9th. UPS doesn't operate on weekends in Germany so it arriving at the export center on the 13th sounds reasonable.
Everything since then is in UPS's hands and nothing Fanatec can control.
