Side mount seat conversion

I was looking to make my sim rig seating more comfortable. My seat does recline and it helps. Was wondering if it's easy to convert a bottom mount rig to a side mount so the seat can be tilted.

I see Fanatec has a new side mount GT seat, but says it's only compatible for the ClubSport GT cockpit. Can it be mounted with aftermarket brackets to other rigs?

Should I look for a different seat? What's good?

    The GT Cockpit Seat has 290mm standard bolt pattern so it should be able to be mounted with aftermarket brackets to other cockpits.
