Hey Phillipe! We’re sorry to hear you’re experiencing this issue, but we’re glad you had a blast with your setup over the weekend! Since you've already gone through a full uninstall and reinstall following our official tutorial, let’s try a few additional steps to troubleshoot the problem.

First, ensure all connections are secure—disconnect and reconnect the steering wheel, making sure the QR2 is properly seated. Then, try a different USB port on your PC and check if the Fanatec Control Panel recognizes any device at all. If the red light is blinking slightly, it could indicate a firmware issue, so if possible, attempt a firmware recovery mode by holding the power button while reconnecting the base.

Since you've already opened a support ticket and are still under warranty, rest assured that our team will assist you in resolving this as quickly as possible. If the troubleshooting steps don’t help, our support team will guide you through the next steps, whether it’s a fix or a replacement if needed. Best, your Fanatec team.

  • Good day Angel,

I at the end ended up to loosen the bolt , pushed the qr2 back in by a good 2 to 3 mm then tighten the bolts again which did the trick at the end.

I was surprised at the beginning how un-tigth the bots were in the first place :)

I ended up doing this because I tried different usb ports ( 3 in total ), I cleaned up completely the driver things like going to device manager and cleaning the coms with clean install and all,

    It was really odd.

What I do not understand from your advise is the QR2 is properly seated ? what does that mean ?
