Hi guys, newbie here, I’ve been interested in buying a fanatic DD for my ps5 for quite some time, besides it being a rather large outlay I was seriously put off by the rumours and stories about long delays, poor service and the dreaded vat & import duties on items purchased from the EU, I eventually pulled the trigger and ordered the gran turismo dd pro, I paid around £640 and kept some money aside for import, uk vat and ups service charge, I am delighted to say that after paying the £640 I wasn’t charged anything else, no ups charge, no more vat or import, the unit arrived today after a 2.5 week wait even though the pre order stated availability from the 3rd of February, if fanatic had issues before, they certainly don’t now, perfect timing too as I collected a Rennsport V2 cockpit from a seller on eBay (£190) just yesterday so will be going together tonight and hopefully burn some rubber 👍🏼 happy racing! 🥳

Jan 28, 2025, 11:41 AM - I ordered the GT DD Pro bundle (8Nm)
Jan 28, 2025, 2:17 PM - Order was processed
Jan 29, 2025, 7:11 AM - Fanatec order was dispatched
Feb 3, 2025, 9:18 AM - Order was delivered.
So, the process was smooth and quick. I'm, from Lisbon, Portugal.
Now I'm going to connect the bundle to my PS5 and I hope everything is working without any problems.

How soon after you received the dispatched e-mail from Fanatec did the UPS tracking start updating?
I received an email on Friday 31st of January and the order being processed the day before.
Still no activity on the UPS tracking website. Got four UPS tracking ids, but none have currently been updated.
BTW the order says "Handover to warehouse"....

The order status in my profile is also "Handover to warehouse", but it can take sometime to update.
About timeline:

Feb 3, 2025, 7:06 AM - Your Fanatec order has been loaded onto the delivery vehicle
Feb 3, 2025, 9:18 AM - Order was delivered.
The UPS tracking started updating Jan 29.
My order arrived yesterday, Ordered on 30/1. Shipped from Germany on 03/02 and received it in Norway 05/02. It actually arrived at the UPS location in Norway 36 hours after it was shipped.
