Formula v2.5x shifters not working

Hello,

I received my first steering wheel, wheelbase and pedals two weeks ago (CSL DD 8nm, formula v2.5x steering wheel and CSL pedals with LC) and everything else seems fine. However, the formula v2.5x steering wheel keeps missing shifts all the time. I updated the firware on all the products to the latest version before trying any games but from the first time I drove eau rouge at spa it missed an upshift and has been doing it ever since (this was the first lap on any game). Since then I’ve tried the wheel on both Xbox and PC (mainly PC) on F1 24, iRacing and Assetto Corsa Competizione and the problems exist in all titles and both playforms. I have tried reading online if anyone has a fix for this but couldn’t find anything so I contacted customer support (now two weeks ago) but still haven’t gotten an answer.

Does anyone have a solution for how to fix this issue? If not, then any tips on getting contact with fanatec?

    you may able fix that miss shift with 455 firmware

    Hi,

    i have the same problem as you, latest 464 driver with steering wheel V2.5X firmware 1.2.0. It causes problems with paddle shifts, i temporarily solved it by installing the 455 drivers and downgrading the steering wheel firmware to version 0.3.5.0. This way i no longer have freezing problems with gear shifts.

    I hope Fanatec is working on a solution because it's starting to get frustrating to have these problems. 😥

    Thank you, that seemed to help. Really sucks that they know about the problem and haven’t fixed it but I guess this works for now.

    It is absolutely unacceptable that this problem still hasn't been resolved! I find it incredibly disappointing coming from a brand like Fanatec! I'm now facing the same issue with two steering wheels; you would think they would have found a fix by now... I'm urgently calling on support to get this sorted out, or I will return everything since it's all still under warranty!
