4 out of 5 items delivered. Missing QR2 Lite

Things started out so well. February 1st I ordered

CSL Load cell kit.

February 5th I see UPS notifications . Initially delighted but I noticed out of 5 parcels UPS had only scanned 4 of the parcels and one was not with them. I gave an initial ticket to Fanatec support at this point and created case ref 2008138211 expressing concern that I might be missing a parcel. That was February 6th.

On Feb 11th 4 parcels were delivered and as I feared one was missing. I updated the support ticket and asked when I might expect the 5th parcel. After some back and forth with support I managed to get the ticket escalated and there was seemed to be an acknowledgement that the item was missing and a replacement might be sent.

Feb 17th I see a zero Euro invoice from Fanatec and then an update telling me that they are shipping a QR1 lite to me. I appreciate the willingness to replace the item but I ordered and need a QR2 lite wheelside mount. QR1 is no good.

I immediately updated support explaining the problem and asking them to not send the QR1 lite but send a QR2 lite. I also expressed concern and frustration that this would only cause delay and hoped they would spot the updates I made to the tickets. This also prompted me to post on the Forums in case someone from Fanatec might see it and somehow prevent weeks of delay.

I ordered all the items when they were in stock including the QR2 lite. I notice on the website today that QR2 Lite is showing as out of stock. I fear this will also add to the delay. Honestly I'll be looking for a refund next week if I don't see some hope of progress.

A standard QR2 instead would be a decent goodwill gesture. I'd even consider paying the difference minus shipping so I could finally enjoy using the wheel.

  • Update I have to wait till 10/03 to get a replacement QR2 mount. Meanwhile the boxes gather dust lets see how it goes. Fanatec support have been responsive to be fair shout out and thanks to Tarik and Marina in support. Its not any individuals fault but Fanatec needs to seriously work on their logistics and order fulfilment.

  • An additional point of information is that I have a QR2 That came with the kit I ordered ( a dd 12nM with wheel and QR. It all arrived promptly but the wheel had a defect. It worked but it had a rattle in it like a loose plastic part. I received two RMA numbers for the QR and the wheel. Nothing wrong with the QR so I kept it and ordered the 2.5 wheel which again I received promptly. However they won't proceed without both parts and I requested a mailing label to return it. Lost in limbo. They have my wheel and I am being ignored.
