BMW M4 GT3 OLED

Hi,
It seems like my OLED display on the M4 GT3 wheel is failing.
Would anyone know if there is a proper way to replace the OLED or disabling it is the only way?
There is no more warranty on the wheel. The OLED is displaying only a few pixels now.
Steering wheel firmware is 9 now.
Thank you.

The screen can be found but the wheel has custom pins so a bit of work is needed to fit it.
the screen is the same as in the other wheels, McLaren and formula… but as I say with different pins
its 128x64 0.96”
I don’t have a solution for you, but this is very disconcerting. I also have this $1500 wheel, but I mostly drive cars with roundish steering wheels so I don’t use it as much.
Do you have any idea how much you’ve used it? I’d say my usage is < 100 hours over the year I’ve owned it.
I don’t have issue on mine for the moment.
I have more than 300 hours in iRacing since March 2024 and only use this wheel there. If it help giving you some feedback.
Since it’s the same screen in all Fanatec Wheel I’m curious about it now.
Unfortunately they used OLEDs. The O stands for Organic which means they will eventually die as all organic things do. Even though the displays all look fantastic when new they'll eventually start to fade and finally go blank. I have audio units that used OLED and they looked very high tech when new, but after 15 years they're all blank because the displays all died. I was disappointed when I saw Fanatec using OLED because I knew they'd start to fail after a few years. You're proof of that. Those Podium DD units will definitely start to fade and disappear regardless if they're used or not. It's just the nature of the beast. So, we can only hope that Fanatec will keep manufacturing the displays so we can get them replaced. That's my suggestion to you. Contact Fanatec and hope they replace the display. I don't see why they wouldn't. Just don't expect it to be free.
Hi everyone,
Thank you for your comments.
I think my usage has been less than 100hrs.
The OLED is just not showing entirely. Other than that, wheel still works as it is.
I suppose with all things, they will fail at some point. I am just hoping fixes can be DIY.
All the best to your wheels.
Cheers
