Australian Shipping Delays?

  • PayPal will take at least 10 days as they will need a reply from Fanatec before returning your money doesn't even make them contact you faster either they have 4 days left to contact me or PayPal will do their thing

  • Wow, that is interesting, thousands of emails!

Yeah unfortunately moza price doesn't really make them more attractive in Australia but unfortunately I am already significantly tied into the fanatec ecosystem. Dont get me wrong , I have always found fanatec gear to be very high quality but their business practices are a basket case.

  • It is a shame it has had to come to this. I really hope fanatec learn from this and realise they can't treat their customers as just dollars in the bank.

  • Here's a new YT video with Fanatec's Thomas Jackermeier addresses the EU warehouse delays. Maybe their new ERP system was rolled out globally which is also affecting AUS orders? Just me guessing really....

Sounds like fanatec did not do their due diligence prior to the changes of suppliers. I remember when this forum launched to the current clunky limited functionality one and rhere was a lot of dismay from forum users about how poor it was and someone from fanatec saying they were led to believe it would be much better than the final result turned out to be.

  • Yer I seen that this morning and that would be why the delay is because Australia stock being used for EU orders

  • How long do you think it will take for them to first fix the situation then start shipping orders??

  • Good question, who knows...... it seems that European orders are finally moving but I can't see how that should have affected ours in the first place.

Okay, so got my tracking number at around 6pm this evening , so an hour and a half ago. There may be some hope now that Aussie orders are finally moving too now.

My fanatec orders page is not showing a tracking number yet but have the australia post app showing it as having been picked up and at their dispatch base.

  • Yep same i have gotten a email saying they had to manually putin order details and upgraded it to express shipping. Should be dispatched on Monday!

  • Ok....... All my goods have now been delivered. Here's my experience summed up for those of you thinking of purchasing something through Fanatec:

My order: R2R bundle + desk clamp

-Order processed on a Friday. Aus Post tracking number provided on the following Monday.

-There was 1 master tracking number but then 5 sub tracking numbers for each item / parcel. This made it a bit hard to lodge a query with Aus Post when there was a delay on items.

-A tracking number provided and email from Fanatec that it has been fully shipped DOES NOT mean it has been. These are manifests only.

-I had the 5 parcels delivered on 5 DIFFERENT days. The first items was delivered in 6 days the final item was delivered in 14 days. This despite everything ordered at the same time. 5 different deliveries is not the best for Fanatec's carbon footprint and customer service. They really need to do better on this front.

-When the first item was delivered, I worried straight away, as I was not aware that everything would come at different times, so I sent an email to Fanatec querying this. To this day I still have had no response. It was only after some digging around on some forums online that I discovered Fanatec ship items separately. This is just plain weird to me.

-Items however were well packed well.

-Haven't had time to use yet. Let's hope it all works, because if I have any problems I reckon it would be pretty hard to get any response from Fanatec for a resolution.

-Recommend you use PayPal for your order, as if nothing arrives you can just hand it over to them for refund as I don't think you'd be able to even get a hold of anyone at Fanatec to launch a request...

    -Good Luck!

  • Lucky you guys i still have absolutely nothing from them im so done

  • Should i just re-order and see if that works

  • I would wate like 2-3 weeks to get there shit together

  • If i was you i would re-order; but with Pagnian or HRSims for non fanatec gear if you are not in the fanatec ecosystem yet.

  • I want a direct drive tho and no other options without troubles

  • Moza? Pagnian sell them. HRsims have quality gear but the price point may be a bit higher.

  • Moza you need a connector to make it compatible and heard there is issues with dropouts

  • A connector to make what compatible, other brand steering wheels?

  • Well my QR2 pro bundle is ready to collect from Australia post, almost 4 weeks in total since ordered.

  • Omg really bro that's awesome I'm hoping mine is coming soon I had the qr1 and gt DD pro base in my products with no pictures loke the others and the qr now has a pic but nothing base yet so I'm hoping

It all seems pretty random as to who gets their order when. We ordered at a similar time, so maybe soon for you. I have already installed the QR2. Need a second one for my formula v2 Rim but will wait for the rubbish service to improve before I do.

  • Did your order arrive? I thought I would push my luck and ordered a second QR2 pro on Saturday night and it went to completely shipped last night and I just had the tracking number from Coghlan come through now so I guess things are getting back to normal now.
