Most likely because you use FFS Linear instead of Peak, in Linear Mode Torque is limited to 6 Nm as thats the holding torque of the Base which is the value which Linear caps to.
I don't know if this is helpful, but loading the default profile, for iRacing, of CS DD at start-up, I did not experience the abnormal behaviour of the LEDs.
Is anyone else having an issue where SHO vibration isn't working in ACC anymore? I last played in ~March and it was working then. I have updated the firmware and software since but don't recall what I was using then.
SHO works in the Fanatec Control Panel.
I have tried setting various steering wheel vibration options on but none seem to work for the wheel. Vibration settings for the pedals are working for me.
Maurice hi, i am on the latest version of fanalab and driver, however i am missing the profile for the Ferrari 296. is it available , can i find it somewhere.
I'm in DD1, and the PBME brand new. The support response it's slow, the shipping also slow, if i contact to the support, it take 1 month at leas.
It's more like software issue than connection, cuz yesterday i was played a lot without any problem, with 10-11nm ffb, hit the kerbs and working fine, then today freeze once from a standing position, when push a few button. I was reconnected the USB-C cable, and it's worked again.
I have a general question about fanalab. If you not have car profiles for every car fanalab stays on the last active car profile. Is it possible that fanalab set the default or favorite profile if a car is selected which has no profile?
It isn't. Fanatec in their infinite wisdom have not programmed Fanalab to revert to the profile that users select as default when you choose an unbound car. It indeed does remain on the previously selected cars bound profile. You might think that this makes having a default useless but it makes sense to these clowns.
It is only possible to set a profile as game default profile but that one only gets loaded when you start the game.
When you load a different profile after the game started (either manually or via CDALP) then the game default profile wont get loaded again when you load a car which is not bound via CDALP, it will stay on the previously used profile.
This was a explicit decision, we do not want to have the profile return to the game default profile everytime you load a car which is not (yet) bound via CDALP.
"we do not want to have the profile return to the game default profile everytime you load a car which is not (yet) bound via CDALP."
Users do though - that is why they went to the effort of creating a default profile - users generally create a general profile that although not perfect will be decent setting for most cars in a game. Holding the previous, car specific setting, is stupid, you run the risk of holding the profile for a car that has very specific setting that could potentially be dangerous when used on another car.
Usually people either bind all cars to profiles or none where then the default profile is active all the time.
The usecase that someone binds a few cars to profiles and then the other cars not is minimal and therefore it was decided to not go that route.
Also there are only 2 or 3 complains about this solution. When more people want to it different, then we might rethink this but for now there are no plans to change this.
I rarely race more than one car without profile each session, so that's probably why I thought the favorite profile was selected when no profile is mapped.

Yes, save a profile when you are in Setup 3 and make it the games default profile so that one gets loaded everytime you start the game.
I own the CLS DD with 8nm power supply. Why does the tuning menu under "Max Torque Output" report only 6nm?
Most likely because you use FFS Linear instead of Peak, in Linear Mode Torque is limited to 6 Nm as thats the holding torque of the Base which is the value which Linear caps to.
Where can I find the profile for the Super Formula SF Car?
In the latest profile pack I have uploaded in the respective thread where you share profiles, it's the pack for 2.00.09 and newer.
oh, thank you!
Any ETA for those of us without a base to connect them to?
Before christmas, so either this or next week.

CSL DD 8Nm
Formula V2.5 X
Driver 454
Fanalab 2.01.12
Make sure BLI is set to OFF as SHO can not work together with BLI.
Hello,
Since this last version, I do not have any rumble anymore.
Trying to investigate, I can see that I do not have any pedal detected in game profile. ( I don't know if it was the case before in fact)
Is it normal?
The LEDs do not work in Universal Hub V2 with the latest version of Fanalab
Yup, thats a known issue and will be fixed in the next version.
Yup, it is a known issue that pedal vibrations are not working in 2.01.12 for USB pedals.
Workaround: Connect the pedals to the base (which is the recommended way to connect pedals anyway).
If you dont have a Fanatec base, then you either need to downgrade back to an older Lab version or wait for the next version which will fix the issue.

Seems you did not downloaded my latest profile pack.
Last pack I released was when 2.00.09 was released. In that pack the profile is definitely included.

This is the reason why my PBME freeze all the time in ACC, because the new WQR firmware?
When i push a few button, then the led, and buttons are freeze, Fanatec panel at this time, didn't see the PBME.
Sometimes i can play 2-3 hours straight, but sometimes when the race begins, and i need to push a few button, and it's dead.
👍️
If you have a CS DD then yes, then there is a possible WQR related hardware or firmware issue which leads to steering wheel freezes.
On other bases its a connection issue and you should contact the support.

No, that is not possible.
I'll be careful speaking against Maurice, but I have a children-friendly (very low gain) profile which I have assigned as favorite.
I'm pretty sure that profile is selected whenever I choose a car that hasn't got a profile assigned.

OK, thanks for the clarification Maurice!
I rarely race more than one car without profile each session, so that's probably why I thought the favorite profile was selected when no profile is mapped.
And I get your reasons for the design decision :)
Sad to hear. Maybe the best solution for this would be a checkbox in the settings so that the user can decide.
Now I have to manually copy the default profile for the car and bind it to it. Very hard I you have many MODs installed.
But thanks for the fast answer!
