This depends on what pieces you're buying. For my orders, I've spent almost exactly amount of money as for Fanatec order. It's not a race between sim racing suppliers, it's just to have stuff to enjoy in our hobby.
Every company has pros and cons regarding their gears, but to date looking at all reviews online you can easily conclude that whatever gear you'll buy, you'll enjoy it.
This is my first entry on sim racing, and this morning I've received all Moza stuff ordered on monday. And this evening I'll start racing, instead of waiting until mid of March to maybe see something. I'm just waiting for my refund from Fanatec.

A further update on how Fanatec is handling everything, both cancellations and the status of orders going forward, as well as the stock status of some items, would be appreciated. Radio silence for such long periods does not help at all.
My order Is a Month late without any answer I try email , call , the web page contact , Is really bad I spend my work bonus trying to enjoy christmas with Fanatec but we have no answers

it seems that once thing do actually start to move, it goes quite quickly. It’s just getting to the “moving” part in the first place.

Why you can not send the material available in the meantime that you solve the problem of unavailability of 2.5x?
You created the problem yourself and you could at least meet the customers by sending the available material in the meantime
