USB cable of Podium DD1 Wheel base
I want to exchange the original USB cable from my Podium DD1 Wheel base against a much shorter one. In the manual it is clearly noted, that you should use the original USB cable to avoid damage to the Wheel base. What is so special on the original cable? Which cable specification needs to be considered when exchanging the USB cable?

The only speciality seems to be the ferit core on the original USB cable. Is this something I need to consider when I exchange to a shorter usb cable (length: 0,5 m)?
If yes, I think the following cable would be fine, right?
