DD2 Help required

First let me say I really like my DD2, ive gone from a Thrustmaster TX leather edition.

The only problem I am having is that when I turn it on it goes through its startup, when I come to race usually on F1 2019 the wheel feels totally different to the setup I have even though it is on the correct setting, the only way to solve this is to turn off the wheel and restart two or three times until it goes back to how it should be.
