Hello,
Should we take the hands of the wheel when we see we are going to have a violent crash to prevent injuries?
Whats the recommended behavior?

Probably yes, can get quite a jolt. And use a kill switch. But then you've taken your hands off and kill switch becomes irrelevant?? Or mount the kill switch to be foot operated, but then awkward to reach the button and on/off switch!!
