Need help FEI setting is broken I think
I just got my CSW 2.5 & Formula Carbon today. No matter what I do the FEI setting always resets back to zero. It doesn't matter if I change it in the wheel menu or driver. Every time I set it it returns to zero the next time I open settings.
I even tried installing Fanalab. Same thing happens. It sits at zero.
I'm using driver 347 with motor firmware 22.
Also the wheel feels kinda dull. Like its just a heavy rubber band. Is this coz FEI setting is broken?

Use driver 365 with Firmware 672, it's a known issue in your driver.
Ok Thanks will give it a go now.
I dunno if i did this wrong but I let it update thru the driver (347) & it updated the WB FW to 664.
It seems to have fixed the issue with FEI setting.
Do I still need to download driver 365 or shall I not bother now?
If all works now, I would not bother to update for now.
Yeah FEI is fixed but the fan is crazy loud & rattlling. Is it like that for everyone? I bought this partly coz ppl were saying it is super quiet.
You also updated the motor firmware?
Nope the motor FW is still v22
The wheel base and motor firmwares are related. If you update one and don't update the other, then you might be running unsuitable versions together, resulting in the fan running at max RPM.
So do I have the right combination? Wheel Base FW is 664, Motor FW is 22. Thx
