New WRC Wheel Quick Release System
Hello everybody,
I seem to like this new quick release system with the new WRC Wheel. I'm mostly a PS4 user and Soon PS5 user.
I also want the Clubsport Magnetic Paddles to upgrade and I will need the Podium Hub.
My questions are as follows:
1- I saw the Review video of Sim Racing Garage that on the WRC wheel the Quick Release has a piece of plastic that fits in a hole on the WRC Wheel. Can I use this on the Podium Hub? Or do I need a flat one (Question 2).
2- On the same video Barry Rowland shows another Quick Release without that plastic piece sticking out. Can we order an extra Quick Release that is flat like that? Either to use on other Wheels we may order or for the Podium Hub if the original Quick Release from the WRC Wheel does not fit?
Thank you in advance.

Hello Sascha,
Thank you for your fast reply. Is the Clubsport QR Better than Podium hub QR or is it the same with different colour?
Also when do you expect to launch the New QR for Clubsport and Podium Wheels?

The same QR.
Excellent. Thank you Hristo,
So my only concern is how do I get to keep the New QR that comes with the WRC wheel and upgrade the paddles to Clubsport Magnetic Paddles.
Hope we get those New QR for sale as a upgrade part without the plastic piece extending.
Thank you for all your replies.
Yes the QR which comes with the Podium Hub is the same as the one in the link.
Keep in mind that in the "special notes" section of the WRC wheel there is this note:
"High Torque Mode is NOT accessible on Podium wheel bases using this wheel, even when using the ClubSport Quick Release Adapter. "
Yes, I know that. I have a CSL ELITE BASE. I just want the Clubsport Magnetic paddles on the New WRC wheel and I want to use the quick release with the Podium Hub. Because I understand that I can’t put the Magnetic Paddles on the WRC Wheel without the Hub. Correct?
I'm not sure, but I think no
The Podium Hub and the Clubsport Magnetic Paddle shifters are not compatible with the WRC steering wheel.
Are you sure the podium hub is not compatible with the WRC Wheel?
Yes.
You are right. I just saw that the pins don’t come off.
So can we add Magnetic Paddles to this wheel or no?
I guess not. Seems like the P1.
Correct, it is not possible.
That’s a shame.
