Excuse me Maurice it was my fault. I found the solution. But now the property page says that my firmware is not the newest one. Shall i update now?
Maurice, if i want to see the wheelbase in the property page i should turn the wheel on. I'm an idiot. But like i told you, I'm a newbee and i have to learn a lot.
I want to tell you that it is very kind from you to help such a lot of people in the fanatec forum. Thanks a lot.
Another rookie question.
when uploding Maurice’s profiles it is throwing me an alert that is mismatching wheels and pedals. Do I proceed? Is it a reminder that I need to adjust the ffb setting or is it something else? 🤔
Yes, proceed and then overwrite the profile. Then the mismatch will disappear.
it's a pity that it doesn't work on ps4 and ps5?
Well, such a software simply cant work on a console because it has to run in the background which the consoles do not support.
Can we PLEASE get a per gear LED% for iRacing? Really annoying to not be able to get the LED's to match up throughout the gearbox in certain cars on the service.
Fully agree and yes it's on the list but nothing easy to implement so unfortunately it's unlikely to come anytime soon...
One more question. To imprt the profiles we have to do it one by one. The is no way to "select all" and then import them all together. right?
no option yet ^_^"
Thanks buddy. :)
What you can do is import one file for a particular game, then in windows explorer go to
Find the correct folder for that game (ie sub-folder 0_5 is iRacing for me), copy/paste all the profiles into it.
Thanks Austen. Really appreciate it. 😎
It appears I'm not able to set BRF in the tuning menu of the Fanalab software. CSL LC pedals are connected by USB to PC. I can set it in the Fanatec property software.
Any advice? Thanks
Brf is only available when the pedals are directly connected to the wheel base.
So I set them via the Fanatec software rather than the Fanalab software?
No. That's a different Brf level and not the Tuning Menu Brf level. You can not adjust Brf properly when the pedals are connected via USB.
The problem with Fanalabs and Raceroom still exists.
Raceroom is CtD without any error message when Fanalabs is installed. This doesn't happen every time. Sometimes it's happen after a few minutes, sometimes after a few hours online racing. Offline I've never seen this Problem.
I'm absolutely Shure, that this is a bug or an incompatibility of the two programs. We can reproduce this not only on one computer.
Is Fanalab installed, the problem is there, is Fanalabs uninstalled, everything is fine. Only closing Fanalabs don't work unfortunately.
I ask to get serious help with this problem.
Thanks but if I connect the pedals to the wheelbase to access the BRF value I then can't update the pedal drivers. They're screwed on to a rig so swapping cables everytime is a pain. Unless you have any advice.
You dont need to update pedal firmwares ever.... There was no new pedal firmware for years and there wont come any further firmware update
Ok. So best to connect to the wheelbase & not the USB?
if you want Brf - yes.
If you want the best possible resolution on the brake LC pedal, then USB as it only gets 16bit via USB and 12bit with direct connection to Base.
any chance to get these files for csw 2.5?
Not from me sorry
Can someone refresh my memories: is fanalab now working with F1 2020 pc game, and if it is what settings should I use in fanalab and in F1 2020?
Any chance we will see a brake bias display for iRacing. For example, when we change bias the screen would display the new brake bias %?
Ehm yes it's working since.. Half a year or so with F1 2020... ^^
It already does exactly this in the ITM.
Very surprised to read it because on july it was quite not working and I tried today (maybe with fanalab 1.51) and nothing happens.
