Another dumb question - setup for the Podium Advanced Paddle Module?
Sorry, but I have a few more dumb questions, this time related to the Podium Advanced Paddle Module:
- How do you assign which of the paddles to use for shifting? I'd like to use the larger carbon fiber paddles with the "+" and "-" cutouts. Are these selected by default, or do I have to assign them, as opposed to the two smaller CF paddles?
- How do I set how many gears are in the gearbox? I assume that's set by the car you select in the racing software, right?
I found plenty of videos about how to assemble the module, which I was able to do without too much difficulty, but nothing about how to actually use it or set it up. Thanks - one of these days, the dumb questions will cease!

Thanks again, Alexandros. Do you work for Fanatec? Either way, I really appreciate all the help you've given me. None of this stuff is difficult, just very unfamiliar. Everybody is a newbie at some point, and you (along with others on this forum) have made my experience with the steep part of the learning curve much less stressful.
The question of where the system hardware hook-up and calibration stuff ends, and the in-game stuff begins, is the next step of my journey.
