Thanks Maurice, indeed the Fanatec Wheel property page doesn't support display scale. So I guess that text field size is fix and not adaptive/responsive and could be improve. 125% is the default and recommended display scale for a 2560x1440 resolution... and for sure unreadable at 100% ;)
ok, I asked the question on a couple of discords and forums it seems it is possibly a normal thing with these direct drive wheel base. I was told it could be bad grounding of the rig/wheel base. I made a cable to ensure grounding to the rig however it made no difference to tingling/vibration feeling. With the most problematic (and very annoying) position being so close to centre I loosened the main shaft coupling and rotated the gold shaft/hub 90 degrees and retightened everything. It feels better because it has moved the most problematic vibration area away from centre, if this is indeed normal then I guess I can live with it now that the vibration is not so bad around center. Thanks guys.
I have the exact same issue, noticed it in ACC. It is a shame since its not even a beta driver anymore, i downloaded it from the product page of the CSL Elite.
I would like to know how i can revert to an older firmware, since it is really unusable the way it is now. Where can i find older firmware files?
You need to uninstall driver 402, restart the pc, install driver 384, restart the pc again, then downgrade the Firmware with the included one. Then you can uninstall 381 again, restart the pc, install driver 402 and restart the pc again but do not update the firmware again.
Thanks Maurice, this time it worked. At the first try the wheelbase somehow got stuck in the updatemode, now it is all working correctly again and the wheel rotation is like it was before.
When you connect the V3 pedals via USB direct to your PC do you not have a brake force setting..? This setting is now not present in fanalab, wheel base and driver settings..
Ok Maurice thank you again.. I'll update tonight.. Curious do you know the rough equivelent BRF USB mode is using..? I generaly like it in the 80-100% range..
I'm a newbie, Do drivers have to be installed in order. ex: 356, 381, 400. I'm at driver 356 now. Also when you use the firmware manager do you have to update everything or can you update the wheels? I reading about the wheel base jolts on the 400 driver. Thanks
Hi, I wanted to report a problem encountered since I have the Podium DD1 with PS4 steering wheel on PC that (from 346 driver to 402) concerns the two 12 way multi-position switches with rotary encoder functionality in ACC. In CONST setting the right switch works fine while the left one skips the settings. In PULSE setting the left switch works perfectly while the right one does not work.
I specify that everything is perfectly working from the Fanatec control panel as well as from the ACC setting which perfectly detects the two switches (left +/- TCS __ right +/- ABS)
Hi Guys, hoping for some help. I have issues with the dd2 wheel base defaulting to ITM during play. Sometimes I select default and it immediately reverts to ITM other times it takes a few minutes. Then I get the jolts.
I also have issues when I turn ITM off completely (button module endurance) and the dash shows random letters and numbers.
I have tried deleting all fanatec software and re-installed, I have run driver repairs and reloaded the profiles but no luck so far. Any tips would be greatly appreciated, I've been struggling to get this wheel and base working for 2-3 weeks.
If you are using Maurice's profiles for example you'll find some symbols in green. If you are indeed using this feature, click on the arrows to disable the auto switch again.
In Const i've problems only on left encoder... From 3 to 4 no change, from 4 to 3 it set 4, from 3 to 4 no change but from 4 to 5 it set 4... very strange...
I had similar problems with MPS and ACC. In order to get them work properly in const mode, I had to check extended input with 0.5 or 1 seconds delay in the respective ACC control settings.

Maybe it's your Display scale, try 100%.

125%
100%
Default settings:
I have solved the lagging of clubsport formula V2 wheel control number 7, 16 & 1
I am using firmware mix.
I used beta 373 for
Wheel Base 674
Mot con 22
I used beta 402 for
ST wheel 40.
My setup is PS4 with CSL Elite base non-lc brakes formula V2 wheel game ACC.
With this setup when change settings I don't get the skipping or slow response.
I hope this helps in some way that a beta can be created that works perfectly.

Ok, i tried that with Driver 381 but i could not flash the firmware with the included tool. Where can i get the 384 driver?
Sorry meant 381.
Just click on update wheel base firmware update und click flash.

Good morning, Can someone help me with this?

I am using driver 399.
No, Brf was always and will always be an exclusive feature when pedals are connected to the base.
BTW please do not use driver 399 but 402.

Add: Which connection type do you prefer?

Jolts happen with every driver when you are on a FFB Analysis or ITM screen.
And no you dont have to install every driver, just install the latest one.
Any word as to when the CSL Elite Wheel Bases will get support the Podium Button Module Endurance?
No new news when the PS4 version of the CSL Elite Bases get support, so still later this year.
Hi,
Since the 402 update, the High Torque warning pops out every 30mn or so on my DD2 and PMBE.
Any advice on how to fix this ?
Thx.

any chance the positions 1,2 and 3 on either rotary encoder are the problem for you with CONST mode?

Are you using Fanalabs and have auto page enabled?
Hi Sascha, where do I find auto page?
in Fanalab under ITM you will find this page:
If you are using Maurice's profiles for example you'll find some symbols in green. If you are indeed using this feature, click on the arrows to disable the auto switch again.
In Const i've problems only on left encoder... From 3 to 4 no change, from 4 to 3 it set 4, from 3 to 4 no change but from 4 to 5 it set 4... very strange...
P.S.
no problems in DD1 property (Win10) or control setting in game (ACC)
Great, thanks Sascha!
Okay, thanks for the report. I can reproduce this with the left encoder aswell, but only through positions 1,2 and 3.
I had similar problems with MPS and ACC. In order to get them work properly in const mode, I had to check extended input with 0.5 or 1 seconds delay in the respective ACC control settings.
Yes extended input is and always was required for ACC (0.5 is already enough though).
