Wheel turning at different rates left to right

Hi all....

DD1 base and BMW GT2 wheel........when i view the function test and turn the wheel it reaches the 300 limit more quickly (with less turn) when the wheel is turned left than when turned right........this means that in game i have different rates of steering input from left to right.....what am i missing?
