yes, every wheel is with every base compatible regardless of the QR1 version (plastic or metallic)
I'm sure the CSL rims are capped to a certain torq limit for safety reasons, I believe the CSL rim doesn't work to the full 8nm, if you buy the new CSL DD with the boost pack.
Every wheel will work with the full 8Nm Torque on the CSL DD.
If people buy a CSL rim and don't upgrade the quick release to the metal one, they are capped for torq? i thought this was the case?
Eg: CSL WRC, GT3 There is a button on the back of the wheel under the plastic quick release that stops heightened torq?

The Mclaren GT3 Wheel does have the button you are referring to, but the WRC Wheel does not. I’m thinking that the torque limiting software doesn’t apply, or isn’t implemented with the CSL DD and those wheels, being that the CSL DD is 8nm max even with the boost kit.
On a CSL DD there is no Low and High Torque Mode. Also with the plastic QR you get the full 8Nm Torque.
