PS4 does not recognize Podium Racing Wheel F1
I just upgraded from Thrustmaster T300RS to Fanatec DD1. To play ACC on a PS4, I got the Podium Racing Wheel F1, because it seems to be the only way to get PS4 support for a DD1.
I got the wheelbase (yes, the blue one that supports PS) and wheel, connected to a PC, updated all drivers to the latest version, installed Fanalab, did some configuration, then connected to my PS4, started the Playstation and… nothing!
The Playstation does not recognize the Fanatec wheelbase and wheel. I can press the PS button (and any other button) on the wheel as long as I want, the Fanatec stuff is not regognized as a PS controller.
I have tried different startup sequences between PS and wheelbase, both USB ports on the PS etc… no success, very frustrating. And yes, the USB cable is plugged into the wheelbase, in the PC slot.
Any advice is highly appreciated, thank you very much!

Is your base set to Playstation Mode?
Maurice, probably not! Embarassing, sorry I am a newby to Fanatec. How do I set the base to PS mode?
As a "newby" you should always read the Quick Guide which comes with your gear ;)
As described in that Quick Guide the Base needs to be set to Playstation mode to be used on Playstation by pressing SHO and Triangle Button at the same time :)
Which mode the base is in is also displayed in the Base OLED on the top left.
Just found it in the Wheel Quick Guide, problem solved. You saved my (Sun)day, thank you very much!
