DiRT Rally 2.0 (Xbox One) - Fanatec Recommended Settings

General Notes:
- The settings below are considered to be reasonable baseline values for DiRT Rally 2.0 (Xbox One). They might not suit all tastes and driving styles, but they are a good starting point. Bear in mind that DiRT Rally 2.0 uses a dynamic physics engine covering a broad range of cars and surfaces, meaning that these settings might not be 'optimal' for every possible driving scenario.

- In order to apply the suggested settings correctly, it is important to assign both the Tuning Menu values AND the suggested In-Game settings together.

- For the Podium Series settings, it is assumed that the Torque Key is being used.

- Please ensure you are using the latest firmware for all Fanatec devices.

Comments

  • Soft lock no longer works on my DD2.  Anyone else have this issue?  Dirt Rally 2.0 Xbox one
  • Hello, i think there are a probleme with your setting , for me, with my DD1, in the dirt rally 2 it's impossible to change wheel friction et tyre friction.  Ty
  • If I adjust my steeringwheel to do the same as in the game i must set the SEN to 054 then it rotates like the ingame steeringwheel.

Is that correct? I have csl Elite with Porsche 918 RSR steeringwheel

  • Any chance we could get an update here for the CSL DD?

Also for DR1 and Dirt 4 would be much appreciated!

  • I feel like there must have been updates to the game which changed the menu options for FFB settings, because what's listed in the first post here does not match what I'm seeing in-game right now.

That being said, if anyone's interested, these are some settings that I've come up with that feel pretty good to me for the CSL DD:

    CSL DD (5Nm) + McLaren GT3 v2:

    Wheel Settings

    SEN 360 - 420

    FF 100

    FFS PEAK

    NDP 50

    NFR 50

    NIN OFF

    INT OFF

    FEI 100

    BLI 80

    SHO 100

    MPS AUTO

    (B - Clutch/ Handbrake)

    In-game Settings

    Vibration & Feedback ON

    Self Aligning Torque 65

    Suspension 90

    Tire Slip 100

    Engine 100

    Collision 40

    Soft Lock 40

    Steering Center Force Enabled ON

    Steering Center Force 100

  • Thanks for that Gregg . I have the 8nm version and I’ll try that . I just got the wrc wheel after about breaking my wrists trying it on my McLaren wheel ha.

  • lol yeah I guess the McLaren rim is not the greatest for "proper" rallying, but I dunno, I've gotten used to it and I actually quite like it now. (It's the only rim I've got, so it's either that or a gamepad! 😆)

  • Hi all, are there compatible or dedicated setting for the following combination:

CSL DD (8 Nm) & CSL Elite Steering Wheel WRC, CSL Pedale on Xbox Series X

    Best Michael
