CSL DD weakened FFB

Played ACC for three hours and all of a sudden the FFB went significantly lower and had to adjust driving a lot for this.
Is there a internal protection that cuts FFB if base gets too hot. My base was quite warm to the touch, maybe warmer than usual on the sides. Usually it's just noticably warm but now was warmer but not hot.
I have driven the base for longer times but FFB has been strong.
Edit: Jesus Lord! I let it cool down and it was still strange but I tried the compatibility mode and Good Lord the FFB is miles better than PC mode. Maybe Kunos changed something with 1.8.12 because before there was no difference!
Try it and report back.

Hi P-J,
Almost all motors are designed to derate when they reach their temperature limits. But this is not something that can happen on a CSL DD during normal operation (even at max torque with Boost Kit for many hours of driving). And when a motor does derate, it happens gradually.
Therefore your description of the forces suddenly dropping sounds like something different.
It is normal for the base to be warm after several hours of use.

Any idea what it might have been? Have to test PC mode again and how it feels.
