FanaLab is not a must, you only have to install it if you want to use it but yes if you want to use it you still have to install it as its separate from the driver.
You mean you want to install FanaLab 1.66 and then the installer does not open or what is exactly happening?
My apologies if this has been answered before, but my search didn't come up with anything. Is there any consideration or development on a feature that can automatically switch to a profile depending on the car being driven in-game? I used Maurice's fantastic profiles, but it would be great not to select them each time when switching cars or games manually.
Just read this on page 4. I believe this is the feature you were looking for. I agree it will be an awesome feature and hope we are getting closer to to it becoming a reality!
Thank you Maurice as always for the updated profiles. Didn't realize you came out with new ones in September. Will be giving them a try now.
Thanks, Seth! I must have missed that. I can't wait it's my most wanted feature also missed the new profiles from September going to update those now too!
I am having issues again with the podium button model in AMS2 where the unit stops working mid-game. I have to restart the base or the new method i found was to unpug the USB plug from the button module to the release module, after that it resumes working. This happened in the past releases and was working great for some time. I think with the recent game updates it is affecting it again. This must be a AMS2 and Fanatec conflict. Any ideas?
Yes, the profiles for the new iR cars are done and ready but I will wait to post the new profile pack with profiles for the new cars (and a Ton of other new profiles) until the next FanaLab version releases later this month.
thank you are a legend.. also can i request the beetle vw lite profile. currently using the suburu one for that car and works okay but if there is a better profile would love it.
Maurice Böschen, many thanks for the FFB profiles for the DD2. I just received my new flyer this week and they have been very helpful.
I have noticed that the Fanalab telemetry (Fanalab v1.66) that I see on my DD2 steering wheel, specifically Brake Bias, does not match the real one from ACC. Any suggestions? Thank you very much.
I have only used the Ferrari GT3 Evo profile from Maurice, and it was great. Something happened over the last few days with the updates, and the drive feels completely different. Far lighter and less detail. Cannot feel the weight of the car at all. Turned off the smoothing effect, reinstalled everything, and it feels way off. Reducing the max force seemed to help a bit, but I just want to make sure something is not wrong with my DD2 or some other setting I missed. I re-imported the iRacing profile for the Ferrari and everything. Curious to know if others are having similar issues at all with these updates.
Yes, for all my profiles I have the Torque Key inserted for High Torque ;)
Surprised about this because especially the F1 profiles are more on the weaker side... Make sure to also use the suggested in game FFB settings, maybe you use stronger in game settings which make it harder to turn the wheel?
Also, make sure to use my latest profiles from 18th september as they got a significant FFB update compared to the ones I uploaded in August.
Even so... you feel less detail than before? You have noticed??. Before it was perfect for me thanks to your profile...I don't know sometimes why they change hehe
Is this version of Fanalab compatible with driver 447 for V2,5 ? Does it have it's own drivers ? I don't want my game to get confused between Fanalab tune settings and the Fanatec control panel app since I had that issue before where the wheel had a nudge in the middle and when turning the wheel it felt like I could feel every ''gear''. I uninstalled all the drivers and any Fanatec app I had in windows then only installed the 447 driver and it felt normal again. So I just wanna make sure before installing it. Thank you
Comments
No. They are still two separate applications.
Thanks for the reply
Do I still have to install Fanalab? When I try to install it, nothing happens

No, I have both installed. Fanatec Control Panel comes with the driver. Fanalab is installed separately.

The next FanaLab version will feature loading a setup automatically with specific cars in different games.
Thanks for the headsup, I was in contact with Reiza and they wanted to look into it as well.
Hey guys, Will there be new profiles for the new iracing cars. Mercedes w13 and toyota gr86 for example?
these profiles have been an absolute game changer for me thank you so much
Glad you like the profiles :)

Your profiles are the GOAT
Racing the Dallara F3 I literally got faster the minute I started using it.
Can't wait to see your newest work!
There will be a profile for the iRacing VW Beetle car included in my next profile pack, yes.
In fact, there will be 65 new profiles, including one for all remaining iRacing Road cars ;)

Amazing! Can't wait!
Hey all,

That is caused by the new iRacing Season 1 2023 update which literally broke the FFB on the 488 GT3 Evo.
My profile was made with Max Force setting of 60Nm which I changed to 35Nm now after the game update to get a proper steering resistance.
You are the man dude. What a quick response! Such a relief. <3
Hello...how i can to add the wrc gen in fanalab ?
You can add it by adding it as a custom game on the Main page (without Telemetry, just for saving and loading a Tuning Menu preset).
The next FanaLab release later this month will have native support for it.
Thanks Maurice !
Hi Maurice,
Do you have the Torque enabled for F1 22? I can't seem to hardly turn the wheel like this. I am not Hulk, but strong enough (I think...).
Excited to hear the answer to this.
Yes, for all my profiles I have the Torque Key inserted for High Torque ;)

Thanks for the quick reply.
I believe there must be something wrong with my DD2 then. I have to drop it to 30 - 35 in game, to get around the corners.
Just tried Iracing, seem to have the same thing.
When I have compared to people in the past, I have always been very impressed with their arm-strength... well maybe there is a reason for that :)
Even so... you feel less detail than before? You have noticed??. Before it was perfect for me thanks to your profile...I don't know sometimes why they change hehe
Ok so it wasn't just me I knew something was wrong with this car. Changing max force to 35nm helped a lot.
