Question about F1 20xx Button Mapping on the PS4

I pre-ordered F1 on the PS4, currently the only racing game I have on the PS4 but I have the Fanatec CSL Elite, I heard some people saying that you can only map so many buttons or something about being only able to map specific buttons to the wheel, is that true or no? 


Asking to decide whether or not I want to play it on the PC or PS4.

    For the F1 Esports wheel, the left analog stick including pressing it seem to not be recognized by the PS4.

    Also pressing the right stick is the same as pressing the right rimmed button (by the “c” in Fanatec). Not sure if PC has those as separate inputs.
