CSL Elite Load Cell Brake Damaged RJ12 Cable

The RJ12 cable that connects the load cell brake to the module has been damaged. The brake isn't showing up in game now. Before I go trying to tear apart the brake pedal, is there a guide for replacing the cable? Is it possible to simply replace the RJ12 cable and put it all back together again? Thanks for your help.
