V3 Cable Question

Do the different Fanatec products, pedals, shifter, wheels use different types of cables? I ask because I had to take my rig completely apart recently and put it back together and cannot get the pedals to work. I am wondering if I am not using the correct cable to connect to the DD1. Does anyone know if each peripheral is cable specific?

    Hi Daniel,

    The Podium wheel bases come with an approved pedal cable in the box. There is also a warning sticker on the back of the base saying that you should only use this cable. This is not because it is different to a normal RJ12 cable, but because it has been tested, and it is well shielded. It should look different from the shifter cable because it has ferrite cores near the cable ends.
