Like Maurice said its planned to offer updates on other operating systems sometime in the future but the current driver and application can't be easily "ported" which is why we will do it with a new one which will take its time.
I have the same problem! After reinstalling the driver, the app works without any problems and after restarting the PC, no connection is found! The Fanatec app is also no longer displayed next to the clock! The latest drivers are of course installed and it is Windows 11.
Which Windows 11 version and driver version are you using? There was a known issue in a previous version driver which got solved by 451. In case you already have 451 installed then follow the steps below.
Is your driver installed in C:/ or elsewhere?
Hot to give us more detailed info about the issue so we can analyse it better:
Open the Windows Event Viewer by pressing Windows button on the keyboard, typing "event" and opening the application.
Once the Windows Event Viewer is open, navigate to the applications section on the left.
Use the search function on the right to search for "Fanatec"
Then select the Error entry of the FanatecApp.exe and export the entry. After you've put the error-log into a zip-file you can attach it to a post here.
How to workaround the issue until it's solved:
You can open the FanatecApp.exe manually in the following folder to workaround the issue:
Hello! Recently I bought csl dd and find this great app, I’m very interested in the ITM feature but for some unknown reason cannot make the connection.
I have downloaded lastest driver and install lastest firmware version available as today. I run windows 11 in my PC, but I can’t find the Fanatec icon in the notifications section right button corner as per instructions indicates to do right click to display de PC ip address.
I did try getting the ip from pc directly by ipconfig. But when enter the ip into the app did not recognized.
This is just a small thing, but since the QR2 has just released and its all hardware based, meaning the software wont need to know if there is a QR1 or a QR2 being used, i would like, just like in the P1 Steering Wheel, to be able to change the preview image of the DD base to one with the QR2 installed, ideally it would be all DD bases with QR1 and QR2 previews, including the Clubsport bases
This would be more a driver feature request as this has nothing to do with the App.
However, the next driver release will exchange all pictures of QR1 with QR2 pictures, without the possibility for the user to change the image. It's QR2 from now on everywhere.
I have the Fanatec app installed on my phone. I have already installed driver 451 a little while ago, but not the phone side. How do i now install the required software (Tray App) onto my PC to link my phone, after the driver is already installed. Is there an independent installer for this Tray App software I can download or a setting I can change to activate this?
The Driver 451 zip file doesn't include an independent installer for the Tray App.
PS: I do not want to reinstall the 451 driver, this should be handled independently with an easily accessible latest download for this app.
I’m very new to all of this but I have a similar failure in iRacing with the app. I tried AC and the ITM broadcast fine to my iOS device. I must be doing something incorrect in iRacing.
CSL DD with Xbox V2 hub, latest firmware and drivers updated today.
Everything was working fine until I updated the firmware and driver today. Now the ITM function of the Fanatec app doesn't work. It just says "waiting for data, start your game."
Yes, that is known. There were some changes made in the TrayApp which also need a new Mobile App which should have been released today in time for the initial CS DD Launch. However, the CS DD Launch was delayed by a week, therefore also the respective driver and App releases are delayed as well.
There is absolutely no reason for a new hardware launch to delay a general software launch, so I presume that the reason for the hardware delay is there is no working software for it. Seems to be typical practice at Fanatec HQ!
Would still make more sense to release the new software package now for existing products, even if it means another release for the new product as once again your poor development practices have broken something that was working. This needs to improve.
I just installed the app and driver 452, but the telemtery isnt working in F1 23 with Fanalab if the app is working.. if I select "enable telemetry for F1 23" in the tray app, it returns a error that its unable to enable it. When I close the tray app, my leds and settings of Fanalab work again. How can I let them work both?
Because the way the Tray App and FanaLab are coded does not allow for Port forwarding.
It would need a substantial re-write which is absolutely no time for at the moment.
It might come in the (far) future but not anytime soon for for F1 23 a useage of both in parallel unfortunately just wont be possible as also written in the aforementioned Changelog.
ok thanks for the explanation, too bad it is like this and hopefully this far future is not too far away, i would be happy if something like this works while my CSW2.5 is still supported

The tray application is running and shown near the clock like this?
the phone and the PC are in the same network?
Will more games be added in the future so this app is compatible? If yes then what games are being worked on be compatible with the app?
Doesn't work for F1 22 or F1 23 unfortunately, these are the main racing games I'm playing at the moment
F1 22 works since a year, F1 23 support is coming with the next version.
No other games currently planned.

With fanatecapp.exe works the App.
Best regards
This app is not supported for PS5 users?
No. PC only.
Hello, do you know the date of the new version where will be support for F1 23?
No ETA yet.

You have to uninstall the driver and reinstall it and then check the optional checkbox to install the TrayApp together with the driver.
Hello,
i have installed the driver 452 with the app
The app don't work on ITM_ HUD mode.
I can modify the tuning menu and the app is connected with my steering wheel.
I just try it with iRacing.
If i remove driver 452 and insttall the 451 driver version the app work normally.
I’m very new to all of this but I have a similar failure in iRacing with the app. I tried AC and the ITM broadcast fine to my iOS device. I must be doing something incorrect in iRacing.

It is technically not possible to run both at the same time.
See changelog of driver 452: “Added F1 23 support. Note: Mobile App ITM data only working without FanaLab running.“
why is this not possible? other software also manages to share telemetry with other tools

Quick heads-up: the new Mobile App update was released a few days ago on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store so ITM should now work again :)
I just now checked Google Play, and the most recent Fanatec app is from November 3, and it does not work -- just says "waiting for data..."
And you use driver 452?
What Mobile App Version are you using exactly? Can be seen in the App itself in the settings on the very bottom. Should be "0.1.10......".
PC driver: 452
App: 0.1.10
Everything worked fine until I updated the firmware and driver. Now it just says "waiting for data."
