Handbrake issue

Hi gang. I recently purchased the handbrake and it adds a great deal of enjoyment to Dirt Rally 2.0 and WRC9.

My only issue is with the slight amount of looseness in the very beginning of the pull. After removing the cover, I noticed that there is a bit of "wiggle" at the ball end joint as well.

If this a normal mechanical function of the handbrake I'm totally good with it. Just a bit concerned it may not be the case.

Without adding a deadzone in the game settings, it will typically register around 1O% pull when it's at the forward position.
