T3PA with DD1

I'm buying a DD1 and V3 pedals, but the pedals won't arrive for a while. So, with no Thrustmaster adapters available to convert the pedal output to USB, I have an idea to use the current T150 wheel.
Open the wheel cover and disconnect the wheel connection to the PCB. Use just the pedals through the USB.
Any thoughts??

Gosh, a bit of a delay!!. Got the V3 pedals now. And Amazon - still "Currently unavailable. We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock."
In the interim, I got the Leo Bodnar analogue to USB conversion board and used that.
