DD1/CSL Elite question

I have the CSL Elite steering wheel {now discontinued} that came with the belt driven CSL Elite. I just ordered a DD1 Podium base. Will this wheel work with the DD1 at full torque?? I see that the replacement for this wheel says it will only work with the DD1 in low torque mode.....
