Button Module Endurance ITM not functioning when swapping wheels

So if I'm using my Formula or McLaren wheels and then decide to switch to my Porsche GT3 Cup wheel, the ITM functions and LEDs on the Button Module Endurance don't work without me opening Fanalab and hitting the refresh button for Active Devices, it just shows the Podium Hub.

It was behaving this way on driver version 402 with Fanalab v1.54.5, and I upgraded today to driver 410, updated the firmware for the BME, and updated Fanalab to v.1.57.2 yet it's still behaving the same way.

Is there some setting somewhere that I'm missing? Faulty hardware? Or is this just how the BME unfortunately works?
