which fanatec driver is currently most reliable? Sep 2021
412 is out apparently, but I have read many with problems with 411. So if I have a CSL DD now, should I just go with 410? (PC user)
Please post even if you do not have any problems with the latest driver. Pls indicate which driver it is you are using.

Where did you found 412?
AFAIK it's NOT out. Latest driver is 411 which is currently the one to use when you have a CSL DD as it already fixed a lot of issues of 410. So it's not even a question currently which driver to use with a CSL DD...
exactly what i thought too as i can only see 411 available through the csl dd item download page.
swear... i read somewhere someone mentioned a 412... my bad...

you’re not wrong, I too have seen somewhere in the forum some one mention driver 412, but for the life of me I can’t remember which post.
That user must have mixed up versions. 412 was not released to the public yet.
Maybe he got the driver from support to try if it fixes an issue the user had. That would be possible as 412 is done and it exists and is currently being tested -but it's just not available for public yet.
411 still has bugs with the csl dd H pattern shifter isn’t working properly, need 412 ASAP
That's not a Software issue, seems its an issue with EMI. Nothing a new 412 could fix.
