Clubsport v2 direct USB to Windows being forgotten

Hi,

I have a set of Clubsport V2 pedals which are directly connected to my PC via USB. Unfortunately, the PC never remembers the pedals when it goes into sleep mode or is switched off. I have to physically pull the cable out and then plug them back in again for them to show up in the Fanatec Control panel. Is this a known issue and is there a solution because I am getting seriously bored of scrabbling around under my desk :)

I have Windows 11 64 bit but this problem used to occur on Windos 10 too.
