Can the GT DD Pro Use USB2?

Hi,


I am expecting the arrival of my GT DD Pro in a few days and am getting excited - this should be a great upgrade from my old Logitech G25.

My current rig sits a couple of meters away from the PC, so I have a USB2 extension cable routed through. I know that the GT DD Pro has a USB-C connector, but is it happy operating at USB2 speeds? (I can't imagine that the extra throughput of USB3 is that useful for the wheel), or will I have to replace all of my cabling?

    USB 3 is absolutely not necessary, and USB 2 will work just fine.

    USB 2 is not an issue but running through an extra two meters of extension cable might be. Some people run into EMI issues with longer cable runs so that might be something to consider.

    Fantastic! Thanks for the info. I've not had any problems with the G25, so hopefully it'll be good.
