CSL Elite brake as throttle and visa versa

My throttle is spiking when fully pressed, between light and hard press and it seems like it hits 100% before it's actually pressed all the way down.

Since the pedals are out of warranty and my brake working fine, and that I never push the brake to 100%, I'm wondering if I can switch them around without any issues?

Is it only the rubber block that's different or do I have to change the pedal spring over as well?

Will it even work?

I don't want to switch them around and break something so I'm waiting for answer here or from Fanatech support before I do anything.
