Try making sure you put the base in the correct mode (CMP = yellow) before launching the game.
When Fanalab does not recognize anything then you use an incompatible driver.
Which driver and which FanaLab Version do you use?
It's in compatabilty mode. Also the the most recent driver as I'm reinstalled the CSL DD yesterday
what is the most recent driver?
And what FanaLab version are you using?
Is the Base recognized properly in the driver UI?
Compatibility Mode is not needed when running FanaLab.
Fanalab is v1.62.3. Says I have the latest version.
Fanatec firmware for base is 1.1.5.4. Also says all firmware is up to date. Fanatec PC Driver version 439
Only have issues with AC. Works with ACC, F1, AM 2
Fanalab 1.62.3 is old and not compatible with driver 439.
You need Fanalab 1.63 or 1.63.6 for that driver.
Also... Is the base recognized properly in both modes in the UI?!
OK nevermind. It got picked up just now on Fanalab. Do i need to select a wheel in game? Can't seem to get the shifters to work
It's has the McLaren GT3 wheel
Have you tried the 440 driver?
Hi all
I have all the up to date drivers etc but it seems not matter what settings I try (I have tried the reccomended settings on here) the steering is heavy at the start of the corner but mid corner and also all slow corners the steering goes really light. Any ideas? I have turned understeer enhance off in game too.
Many thanks
Hi James,
This could be a result of a poor electronic connection between the base-side quick release and the motor shaft, as described here:
