Order to Switzerland, taxes

Hello,


Want to order a GT DD Pro set for about 1000,- to Switzerland.

I assume this comes from Germany (or direct from factory in Asia ?) but as a newbie the import taxes are described very vaguely, only stating that you can expect them, no rough reference amount or anything.

I understand companies can't specify tax estimates for every coutry in the world so I turn to here :

Does anybody know what to expect as duty fees for a 1000,- wheel from Germany to Switzerland ?

    A simple search is enough. You will have to pay VAT, it should be 7.7% of the total including shipping costs, and customs clearance based on weight.

    Hi, I'm from Switzerland too and I want to order basically the same setup as you, for roughly the same price. Can you tell me how much you had to pay in shipping taxes and customs ?
