Rj12 cable

So I got a podium f1 setup and the new cal elite v2 pedals. The wheel base came with a rj12 cable and the pedals also came with one. The back of the podium wheel base states to only use the cable provided with the wheel base. Is there a difference between these cables? Is there a difference between the one that comes with the pedals and the one that comes with the wheel base? Thanks

    My Clubsport V3 Pedals did have a different RJ12 cable with ferrite cores on it, but in the video i posted above I don't see that on your pedals.
