CSL Elite Pedals v2 not being detected in F1 23 (PC)

As the title says, everything works fine as I've tested in RF2 and everything shows up in the fanatec control panel okay, but for some reason it just does not want to work in F1 23 and I cannot find anything online that shares the same issue.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

    The message says that you need to configure them in the game controllers menu. You will have to specify that these are pedals and calibrate the brake, throttle and clutch controls.
